During the investigation phase of my Transformations project, I explored the work of a number of innovative furniture designers. My first study was Frank Gehry's 1972 Wiggle Chair which had been made out of corrugated cardboard and mimicked the movement of waves. My second study was that of Pierre Paulin whose iconic 1960s Tongue Chair was influenced by the principles of Modernism. This piece is a collage of photographs showcasing my own experiments with styles influenced by these artists.
